I Live Here. I, ... I Am Exploding (see previous entry)

I makes me, in the words of Chuck Palahaniuk, 'grow a big rubbery one' when I see a place that is right in my backyard, be seen in such a gorgeous way.  On Kanye's blog he calls it dope, on other blogs it's amazing, on this blog it's Tokyo.  It swirls and capitulates into itself.  Its people are fixtures, and the way the city has been built makes it collapse and rise all around them.  I am one of them.  My chest swoons in the thought of the places I have travelled.

Enough sentimental blog shits.  Watch this geometric orgy of one of the greatest cities in the world.

"In other words, the base of the story will be like this — we start wandering around Tokyo in search of some truth, but it turns out we come back to the starting point finding nothing but a doubt; people in Tokyo live as if they were circling the same position sitting in a “Maledict Car”."

The Internet Is Exploding

That's it.

David Byrne Designed Some Bike Racks

Acording to NME.com, David Byrne has now designed and installed nine nifty new bike racks in New York.  Some of the names for his racks are obscenely obvious, so I don't know if he is making fun of Williamsburg, Brooklyn by naming his guitar shaped rack 'hipster' or what.  He said he had the neighborhoods in minds when creating the racks.  Which brings me to my next point: I don't know if the advancement blog has covered this yet, but when David Byrne built a gigantic instrumental house, that was one foreseeable thing, but to make eco friendly, hip cycle holders, that is advanced my fiends.  I love the last line of the article blip that follows with,
"David Byrne is currently rehearsing for his forthcoming world tour, kicking off September 16 in Bethlehem, PA"
and welding nine more car boots for the city of New York.

Everyone Needs To See This

Sometimes the internet just gets it right.  This marvelous clip is no exception.  Charles Manson was responsible for killing people in San Francisco and starting a cult that rallied around the Beatles.  Their favorite track was 'Helter-Skelter', but obviously Manson was a huge fan of someone else.

I call for a 'Roxbury' sequel
